Earlier this year we wrote about Elon Musk’s (SpaceX) plan to colonize Mars. The chief executive officer presented last year a plan to build a million-person city on the neighbor planet Mars. The reusable ITS spaceship is still under development, but when it’s finished it could carry at least 100 people. It would take 50 to 100 years to emigrate 1 million people. How realistic is this plan?
