Is coconut oil unhealthy?

According to the American Heart Association, coconut oil is not as healthy as people believe. Although there is not a lot of research available to support their assumption, they believe that it is “as unhealthy as butter and beef fat”. It contains 82% saturated fat which can raise LDL (bad) cholesterol. That’s more than butter (63%) and beef fat (50%).
