
Kenneth Gatland and David Jefferis, the writers of the Usborne Book of the Future (first published in 1979) were right about a lot of future predictions, like the phone watch, flat screens, solar energy, the Hubble space telescope and the International Space Station.
They were wrong about intelligent robots, although Siri and Alexa become smarter every update.
